行政院呼籲企業為勞工加薪，以解決缺工問題。行政院前院長張善政表示，台灣產業辛苦是因為利潤很薄，加薪反而是個負擔，且學用落差若沒解決，加薪一樣也沒生產力。
回應：張善政直指問題核心，台灣產業利潤薄是關鍵的問題，但利潤薄是基於什麼問題？技術不足、經濟停滯發展嗎？但他所提的學用落差，倒是不錯的觀點，也顯示出台灣的教育無法與業界產生互動與鏈接。
2.習近平開啟新時代 權力洗牌

中共19大閉幕，選出新一屆中央委員會與中紀委成員，並全票通過黨章修正案，中共權力重新洗牌，也藉此奠定習核心地位，開啟習近平新時代。
回應：值得關注的是，習近平是繼毛澤東之後，把自己名字列進黨章的領導人；鄧小平的名字是在過世後才寫入黨章。雖然「習近平思想」是一個很空翻的詞語，但就他所言，如果毛澤東讓創了共產黨，鄧小平讓中國繁榮，他將讓中國「再次偉大」，鞏固國內軍事、經濟，並進軍全球市場。
