M. Olivier Richard's brief talk become the only channel that all the present media could follow, and I decide not to repeat that boring voice. Indeed with a little more work they could have easily made this a convenience venue for significant R.O.C representatives to show up and the media would also love create a hopeful public atmosphere conducive to stronger Taiwan-France relations.
The Bureau had no clue what Taiwanese media came to do, nor what they could do.

下午去法國在台協會簽悼念簿，發了記者會通知卻什麼都沒有預備。Olivier Richard 唯一出來講的一段話反而變成各家都在抄。
事實上有心聯絡好，邀到台灣高官政要出席，對台法關係絕對會有相當正面的助益。結果因陋就簡的一切，沒人招呼，沒人介紹，搞得媒體沒新聞硬要挖新聞，彷彿不請自來似的。
當排著進到門口寫簿子的小房間時，門口的光頭法國人還莫名其妙，我想他根本以為只有 expats in Taiwan 是他們的客人，彷彿台灣記者對此事都不會有想法、有瞭解、有感情似的 。我看了十分難過。
許多Cable同業出機的，似乎真是如此。他們亂聊著會不會柯文哲現身，彼此兔槽了一番之後，就很快收機離開了。
我排在幾個同樣是外國駐台使節相關的人後面，結果等候出來之時，最後守著的自由亞洲電台（rfa.org）的台北特約記者，找我接受採訪。
