Coming to the Bureau Français de Taipei for the condolence book signing event (Registre de condoléances en ligne, I was shocked that with so little preparation they were calling it a press venue.
M. Olivier Richard's brief talk become the only channel that all the present media could follow, and I decide not to repeat that boring voice. Indeed with a little more work they could have easily made this a convenience venue for significant R.O.C representatives to show up and the media would also love create a hopeful public atmosphere conducive to stronger Taiwan-France relations.
The Bureau had no clue what Taiwanese media came to do, nor what they could do.
- This is what I wrote on the condolence book.
